Reducers are machines that produce high torques and provide low horsepower and low speed from the output of electric motors.The reducers used in the screw conveyor are connected with the motor shaft, reducing the mechanical energy coming from the electric motor with their own gears and achieving a rotational constant. this constant changes according to the user’s material flow per hour. This enables the screw conveyor to determine the material flow in the desired amount per hour by the user, the reducers with different speed options offer suitable solutions for the user in the material flow. These speeds are (140rpm, 200rpm, 240rpm). In addition, different reducer diameters are used according to the outer spiral tube diameter to be used. These diameters are; (168mm, 219mm, 273mm, 323mm).
